The property’s motto could be: Thoroughness and Quality.

Here the vines are pruned low and thinned before harvest time, in order to gain better maturity.

The harvesting is carried out manually and mechanically, and the sorting is done at the end of the rows and in the cellar.

The winemaking is traditional, each vat is monitored individually, the vats are thermoregulated, and fermentation at 28°C for 12 to 21 days.

Malolactic fermentation in new barrels for 30 % of the harvest, which gives the wine finesse and suppleness.

The property produces a second wine: the Clos de Ramage or the R de Ramage.

Ramage la Batisse wines win medals every year and are mentioned in the most respects wine guidebooks and specialised press on a very regular basis, both in and outside France.
